Not only is this what you’re paying us to do, it means we can form a rapport with the potential tenant so they trust our advice when offered. It also means we can properly understand their needs, as well as be on hand to ‘counter’ any objections they may have about your property.
So we have found a tenant and the references are acceptable – what happens next? Our tenancy team, led by Dawn Nash, will create your tenancy agreement. This includes the legal documents and inventory and at the same time we will notify all the service suppliers of the final/start meter readings. The tenancy will then start on the agreed date at which time we will have collected the first month’s rent and deposit.
Once the tenancy has started, the team will inspect your property every three months to ensure that your tenants are looking after it well.
