Mark Templer Residential Lettings reserves the right to make a commission charge to a contractor instructed on behalf of the Landlord of up to 12% including VAT of the net cost of the work (with a minimum charge of £12 including VAT).

Optional Rent and Legal Protection Cover with Fully Managed Service:

Arranged via our recommended Insurance company HomeLet, the key benefits of the policy are as follows:

  • Monthly rent paid for up to a maximum value equivalent to fifteen months of rent arrears, plus 3 months’ rent paid at 75% following vacant possession.
  • No deductions from HomeLet, 100% of your rent is paid.
  • Legal expenses up to £100,000 to cover eviction costs if the tenant is in breach of their tenancy agreement or following an expired section 21 notice.
  • Professional court attendance on your behalf.
  • The policy is transferable between tenancies so if a tenancy comes to an end and a new tenancy begins, the policy stays in place.
  • Claim from day one of the policy – no exclusion periods.
The cost to you for this policy is as follows:

For your ease, we can deduct this cost from your monthly rental income as a monthly expense.
