Mark entered the estate agency profession in 1983 as a trainee in Clevedon and progressed to open his own practice in 1994. Mark is ever enthusiastic about estate agency and is always keen to innovate with new ideas and technology. He is now (he thinks young) 42 years of age, married, lives locally and has two children aged 16 and 14. Outside work Mark spends time keeping fit both in the gym and as a keen member of Clevedon Athletic Club. Other sporting activities include golf and cricket.

Annie joined the company nearly 4 years ago, initially working weekends before becoming a full time member of staff. She has 2 daughters aged 17 and 21, and in what little free time she has, Annie enjoys activities that can include her family, i.e. bowling, swimming, cinema and travelling. Annie’s hopes and ambitions include learning another language, seeing her children with secure careers that will keep them in the manner to which they would like to be accustomed to, and to buy a plot of land and design her own home.

In her spare time she enjoys gardening and holidaying in her caravan and has recently fulfilled her ambition to travel abroad a little more.

Mandy has been with Mark Templer & Company Limited for 10½ years. She has been married for 17 years and has a 13 year old daughter and 9 year old son. In what little spare time Mandy has after working and running around after the children, she enjoys socialising, cooking, reading and holidaying. Her ambition, is to one day be living in a little cottage overlooking the harbour in Port Isaac and running her own tea shop.

Carolyn enjoys the varied aspect of her job, together with customer contact. She is quoted as saying, “there is never a dull moment in life!” and is often seen disappearing beneath a pile of envelopes each week, mailing out property details to all our applicants. Carolyn is interested in keeping active and participates in various sports, and has two children who are both also very sporty.

John has been with the business for 7 years, after a previous career in human resources, which he feels has given him the necessary experience when dealing with clients’ needs and requirements. John is married with 2 daughters and 9 grandchildren, and enjoys golf and gardening in his spare time. His hopes and ambitions are to stay healthy and reduce his golf handicap!

Fred has been married to Hazel for 38 years and has 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. He joined the business after 30+ years as a Management Accountant with BT. Fred’s hobbies include golf and bowls, but his main ambition is to continue to provide a first class service to our clients.

Having 10 years experience in Residential Letting and Estate Agency, Debbie is resourceful and enthusiastic. If you have a property to let Debbie is the person to talk to. In what little spare time we allow her, Debbie enjoys spending time with her husband of 19 years and 2 teenage daughters and visiting their caravan in Cornwall.
Debbie has also recently qualified as a hypnotherapist and is looking forward to practising her art on her colleagues!

Giovanna inherited ‘the Estate Agency bug’ from her mum. This year has seen her buy her first property and so has experienced the buying process from the other side. Giv is really enthusiastic lettings negotiator and is ready to bring a dynamic approach to this sector. Giv lives locally and in her spare time enjoys walking her dog Hugo and spending time with her boyfriend.

Faith is one of our newest members of staff and she is proving to be a real asset. She shows an infectious enthusiasm, enjoys dealing with property and has a fabulous attitude. At home Faith is married, has two children, enjoys reading, keeping fit and writing stories, (though to our knowledge none have been published yet??) Working against her fitness regime, Faith enjoys takeaways and wine. One day she hopes to live in a big house in the country and to see her children grow up as both successful and happy!
